In a slow, unfashionable manner, Sanju Samson and David Miller helped Rajasthan Royals go past Kolkata Knight Riders' total, with six wickets in hand. Kolkata Knight Riders were never in a dominant position in the contest, as they lost their fourth successive match of the tournament and slid to the bottom of the points table. With this win - only the second of the tournament - Royals have moved to the sixth spot on the points table.
